Responsibilities

• Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities, including offices, production areas, and public spaces.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues, including maintenance repairs, cleaning needs, and safety hazards.
• Coordinate with management and other staff to ensure that all facilities meet health and safety standards.
• Consult on the planning and implementation of facility improvements and expansions.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure that all staff adhere to them.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary.
• Train facility staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and disruptions, coordinating repairs and clean-ups as necessary.
• Consult with management on strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency related to facility management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on janitorial duties.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance and cleaning in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment, as well as cleaning supplies and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing or walking for extended periods.

Pay

$24.30 per hour
