Facilities Maintenance Technician
Core Responsibilities
- Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: repairs on walls, roofs, doors, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, general carpentry, electrical and playgrounds repairs
- Grounds and facility upkeep: sweeping, pressure washing. Cleaning dumpster enclosures
- Operational Support: inventory management, moving furniture, building furniture, installations.
- Completing reactive work orders in multiple locations
- Swag/consumables/literature/parts etc. pick up and distribution
- Help with events set up
- Labeling safety and building fixtures
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Driver’s license with clean record
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy loads (50+ pounds), stand for long periods, walking and climbing ladders
- Problem solving skills with minimal oversight
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, clear concise communication
- Ability to use technology
- Ability to prioritize tasks and plan ahead
