About the role

Fujifilm Dimatix, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Support and Facilities Maintenance Technician III to support the operation of the company's facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring various systems, ensuring the cleanliness of the clean rooms, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
  • Paint machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
  • Change light bulbs.
  • Train on and manipulate Building Management System (BMS).
  • Perform daily readings on all systems and call in readings to vendors.
  • Cut out and join parts for worktables, benches, shelves, and other furnishings.
  • Patch or replace plaster or plasterboard and paint walls, ceilings, and trim of building.
  • Clear clogged drains and replace plumbing fixtures.
  • Furnish Facilities Technicians III with materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Clean work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Notify management of need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Maintain stock areas and report shortages of critical components and supplies.
  • Assist in company function setup.
  • Carries an emergency On-Call pager for 7 days rotation.
  • Responds to 24/7 facility support and responds to BMS alarms and building infrastructure failures.
  • Provides input for space planning and assists with projects.
  • Completes errands and seasonal tasks as needed.
  • Maintains grounds and performs cleanup.
  • Maintains company vehicles.
  • Operates plow truck safely.
  • Performs maintenance on buildings and related areas, including painting, patching, replacing light bulbs, and small plumbing issues.
  • May be trained in proper handling of chemicals and hazardous waste.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and comprehend instruction by others.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to repair facilities and operations-related equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles as needed.
  • Operation of company equipment (plow truck, skid steer, tractor, and snow blower).
  • Ability to perform physical labor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Self-starter with service and detail orientation.
  • Ability to be trained in proper handling of chemicals and hazardous waste.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing environment experience helpful.
  • Lockout/Tag Training.

Physical Demands

  • Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and inspect work sites.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds or heavier weights with assistance and/or the use of proper equipment.
  • Operate company equipment (plow truck, skid steer, tractor, and snow blower).
  • Ability to climb and descend ladders.

Work Environment

  • Works in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • May work in controlled temperature conditions, cold and hot temperatures, or inclement weather conditions.
  • May potentially handle hazardous waste in accordance with the safe work practices defined in Hazardous Communication and Hazardous Waste training programs.
