Facilities (Maintenance) Team Lead - 3rd Shift

Essential Functions

• Performs adjustments and maintenance on equipment and while standing throughout shift.
• Responsible for machine cleanliness, changing shrink film, label rolls and plows (shrink wrap guides).
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• May be required to work in other departments and locations as workloads permit.
• Must be able to work extensive overtime and any shift.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack (motorized or non-motorized).
• Operate multiple machinery equipment.
• Must be able to operate Reach and OP.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be willing to learn to operate all packaging equipment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and systems.
• Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and off shifts to support operational needs.
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions including noise, temperature variations, and material handling environments requiring PPE.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Demonstrated customer focus, deadline sensitivity, organization skills, flexibility, relationship building skills, problem solving and demonstrated support for new ideas, suggestions, and changes.
• Must have leadership skills, computer skills & Navigation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center with shifting priorities and time-sensitive demands.

Team Lead Responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Lead team to meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Assign and direct daily work.

Work Environment

• Primarily operates in a warehouse environment.
• Requires flexibility to adapt between warehouse floor activities and administrative tasks.
• Regular use of office equipment, tablets, scanners, and related tools.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
• Frequent use of hands to handle products and equipment.
• Must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds or more.
• Requires ability to see close, distant, and peripheral, as well as adjust focus.
