Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor *On-Site*

About the role

Client is looking for a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor that will lead their maintenance/facilities teams. Floor-level leadership role, working alongside your team, with 8 direct reports.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with experience in a manufacturing environment
• Facilities management experience (HVAC knowledge highly valued)
• Proven experience running preventive maintenance programs
• Working knowledge of fire systems, alarms, elevators, electrical, plumbing, and A/C
• Experience with parts procurement and supplier negotiation, including international sourcing
• Strong organizational and project management skills

Day to Day

• Lead and oversee the Maintenance team (6) and Facilities team (~2 staff) = 8 total
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment, fire systems, alarms, elevators, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/A/C
• Approve and procure replacement parts – including international sourcing and negotiate with vendors
• Manage mid-size facilities projects including supply procurement and office setup/furnishing
• Coordinate and oversee subcontracted work (parking lot, outdoor maintenance, etc.)
• Undergo hands-on training on the company's custom-built manufacturing equipment
• Be available on-call for emergencies such as alarms or urgent facility issues (occurs a few times per year)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Site Manager and Engineering Department

$80,000–$90,000
