Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign, and review the work of facilities maintenance.
• Supervise, plan, and coordinate the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of County buildings, facilities and grounds.
• Coincide, monitor, and provide technical input for assigned facilities maintenance and related projects and programs.
• Provide responsible technical assistance to the Facilities Manager.
• Perform a variety of technical tasks relative to the assigned functional area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in performing construction and/or facilities maintenance work, including one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver’s License at time of appointment.
• A satisfactory driving record.
• Refrigeration Recovery Certificate from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
• Underground Storage Tank Operator Certificate from the State of California.
