Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, assign, and review the work of facilities maintenance.
- Supervise, plan, and coordinate the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of County buildings, facilities and grounds.
- Coincide, monitor, and provide technical input for assigned facilities maintenance and related projects and programs.
- Provide responsible technical assistance to the Facilities Manager.
- Perform a variety of technical tasks relative to the assigned functional area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in performing construction and/or facilities maintenance work, including one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver’s License at time of appointment.
- A satisfactory driving record.
- Refrigeration Recovery Certificate from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
- Underground Storage Tank Operator Certificate from the State of California.
