Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

This employee is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of City buildings. They will oversee the ongoing custodial & maintenance to ensure that facilities are clean, safe, attractive, and secure. Works under the direction of the Office & Facilities Administrator. All employees are also under the general supervision of the City Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ongoing custodial & maintenance to ensure that facilities are clean, safe, attractive, and secure.
• Direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Technicians, Facilities Custodians, and other outside vendors as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Experience supervising a team of maintenance technicians and custodians.
• Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$40,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
