About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist maintains and improves building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. This role performs skilled maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, and general facility repairs. The position also supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems while ensuring compliance with building codes and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including residential, commercial, and light commercial applications
  • Troubleshoot and replace lighting systems and fixtures, including ballasts
  • Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including fixtures and PVC pipe fitting
  • Maintain sprinkler systems and fire pumps, including risers, valves, and sprinkler heads
  • Execute framing, carpentry, drywall repair, and finishing tasks; read and interpret drawings
  • Conduct painting and roofing repairs
  • Support work cell design and installation
  • Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and OSHA safety standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of facility maintenance experience
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and trade-related equipment
  • High level of mental focus and visual attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity, strength, and stamina to perform physical tasks
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics

Pay

$28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
