About the role
This is a Full-time Contract Position. Under general supervision, the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for performing semi-routine maintenance and repair work. The role applies growing technical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot complex facility systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams during equipment installation and repair activities
- Conduct periodic inspections to identify and report facility repair needs
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve standard maintenance issues, escalating unusual problems to higher levels
- Maintain all required certifications and safety training, including Emergency Response and CPR/AED/BBP
- Perform maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of facilities maintenance or skilled trades experience.
Skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical manuals
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with coworkers and customers
- Good problem-solving skills with moderate independence in decision making
- Working knowledge of HVAC, pumps, chemical and gas distribution systems, and semiconductor equipment infrastructure
- Proficient in one or more skilled trades related to facility maintenance
Pay
$26.00 - $34.80 per hour. Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.
