Facilities Maintenance Mechanic (1st shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.
• Diagnose Mechanical Issues: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions by applying technical expertise and standard troubleshooting methods.
• Maintain Maintenance Records: Accurately document all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs performed, and parts utilized, to ensure comprehensive history and compliance.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: Implement and follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
• Communicate Technical Information: Effectively share technical updates and maintenance status with team members to facilitate coordinated and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing building maintenance and repairs in a facility, industrial, or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of general facility systems, including doors, locks, lighting, plumbing fixtures, HVAC support items, and basic electrical repairs.
• Ability to complete minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and hardware repairs.
• Experience responding to work orders and completing repairs in occupied buildings.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting building equipment and identifying repair needs.

Pay & Benefits

Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Estimated hourly base pay: $25.00 – $32.00. Plus, overtime. Long-term incentive compensation in the form of equity. All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity. 401(k) match (4.5%).
