Job Summary
Apprentice to learn to repair and perform basic preventive maintenance of facilities equipment for production and non-production related activities including physical upkeep of facilities and grounds.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities (essential Functions)
- Performs under full direction of piers, building trade duties in connection with repair, modification, installation and maintenance of company facilities.
- Affords assistance to other Facilities Maintenance Mechanics as needed.
- Operates basic power hand tools; such as, drills, saws, sewer auger / snake, etc.
- Performs various housekeeping and grounds keeping duties to maintain internal and external facilities and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and Company safety procedures.
- Completes daily work logs for time and costs tracking.
- Operates/drives Company vehicle to get parts, etc.
- Operates required lifting equipment: (forklifts and man-lifts) and empties barrels.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with technical school or on-the-job training in building trades.
- 0 months to 6 Months of experience in general facilities or industrial maintenance.
- Ability to perform general maintenance duties such as: unstop toilets, replace light bulbs, change ceiling tiles, dump dust collector barrels, etc.
- Ability to learn to set up and operate standard building trade equipment including forklifts.
- Must have required tools.
- Able to lift 50 pounds, work from ladders/platforms, walk long distances, climb, stand and knell for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions
- Working in normal office, hangar and shop conditions.
- Working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
Compensation And Benefits
- The compensation for this position typically falls between $21.00 and $27.00 per hour.
- This position is eligible for overtime.
- This position may be eligible for shift differential.
- Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
