Responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on building systems and assigned equipment, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building finish tasks.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative and repair maintenance for the building envelope and connected systems.
- Performs routine maintenance on Data Center climate control and fire detection and suppression systems.
- Schedules and performs minor electrical maintenance, including replacing switches, ballasts, lamps, and motors.
- Performs inspections and minor repairs to building roofs and flashing.
- Conducts routine building inspections, creates, and performs work orders.
- Responds to emergencies as the primary contact for facilities emergencies while on shift (e.g., fire alarms, HVAC systems, electrical issues).
- Cleans up spills, drain backups, roof leaks, etc.
- Maintains paint and touch-ups throughout the building.
- Supports special events such as VIP visits and company assemblies.
- Performs weather cleanup, including tree debris and snow removal.
- Completes site litter cleanup as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule
3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday – Thursday.
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Trade, technical, or vocational education in Industrial Technology.
- Two or more years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Thorough understanding of general facilities maintenance with proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Electrical experience (120-480v) with ability to operate electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts.
- General knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, and fire suppression systems.
- Friendly demeanor, service-oriented attitude, and strong communication skills.
- Good observation and follow-through skills.
- Sufficient computer skills for work order fulfillment.
- Ability to read building plans.
- Excellent time management skills.
Physical Requirements
- Regular walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional computer work and sitting.
- Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated heights.
Travel Requirements
Local offsite properties; ability to operate company vehicles.
