About the role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and upkeep of designated buildings within the FIVCO Region.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned through work orders.
- Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and systems as needed.
- Complete all required paperwork associated with each work order within one working day of job completion.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs across assigned locations.
- Ensure tools and equipment are used and maintained safely and appropriately.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while performing tasks.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- General knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance tasks (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc.).
- Ability to read and follow work orders and complete associated documentation accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred due to regional travel).
Pay
The salary range for this position is $18 - $20/hour.
Schedule
This is a part-time position.
