Facilities Maintenance Assistant
Job Duties
Assists the Trades Technicians with basic tasks such as replacing standard plumbing parts, repairing wall damage, hanging bulletin boards and signage, painting drywall, replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing broken windows.
Provides general labor including dismantling, moving, and reassembling furniture, and moving construction supplies and equipment between work sites.
Performs general groundskeeping work on campus grounds such as mowing grass, trimming trees and shrubs, weeding, preparing seed beds, mulching, leaf removal, and shoveling snow.
Absorbs and communicates with Custodians including spot cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, and stripping and waxing floors.
Able to use small tools and repair small equipment.
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 1 year of physical labor or maintenance experience
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred, But Not Required
- 2 years of physical labor or maintenance experience

Salary Range
$16.00 - $18.15 per hour
