About the role

American Implement is seeking a Facilities/Lot Maintenance Technician for their dealership in Walsh, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and maintains shop facilities.
  • Maintains grounds including lawn, equipment displays, and parking lot.
  • Removes snow and debris from sidewalks and in front of buildings.
  • Performs minor building maintenance and repairs.
  • Serves, assembles and replaces things like light bulbs, filters, fixtures and displays.
  • Notifies management of the need for repairs that cannot be completed in house.
  • UPS Freight, Mail, Supplies and other errands.
  • Parts & Service Runner when needed.
  • Washes, cleans and details shop vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Helps set up for meetings, lunches, or special events.
  • Demonstrates a constant commitment to customer service.
  • Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations of the company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact with staff and customers while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
