About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of company facilities. This role performs routine janitorial and facility support duties while helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming work environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of offices, production areas, and common spaces
- Facility appearance and organization
- Waste removal and recycling
- Basic grounds maintenance and exterior cleanliness
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
Essential Functions
Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environment
- Monitor facility supply inventory and restock janitorial, breakroom, kitchen, restroom, and other common area supplies as needed
- Perform routine cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and restroom maintenance
- Clean and disinfect common areas and high-touch surfaces throughout the facility
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
Facility Support
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environment
- Perform basic grounds maintenance, including mowing, landscaping, and exterior cleanup
- Respond to facility cleaning requests and maintenance-related needs as assigned
- Support facility improvement projects and perform other general facility duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or general maintenance experience is preferred but not required
Skills
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safe cleaning practices
- Ability to perform routine facility maintenance and groundskeeping tasks
- Ability to safely use common hand tools and cleaning equipment

- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shift
