Facilities General Maintenance Worker (Courthouse)

About the role

The Facilities General Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the courthouse facilities. This includes tasks such as cleaning restrooms, sweeping floors, mopping, and performing minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms and common areas
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
• Handling basic custodial duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience in a similar role preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to work long hours
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid/CPR certification (preferred)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts are typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some weekend coverage required.
