Facilities Enterprise Asset Management Analyst
About the role
The Facilities Operations Center (FOC) seeks an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Lead to serve as the technical lead for enterprise asset management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance management systems, work planning and control, and asset lifecycle management, with a focus on improving asset performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) initiatives supporting Facilities & Operations, with primary responsibility for leveraging system and emerging AI-enabled capabilities to improve asset performance, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Apply advanced knowledge of maintenance management systems, work management processes, preventive and predictive maintenance, and asset lifecycle management to identify, evaluate, and implement operational improvements.
- Lead cross-functional efforts involving operations, engineering, IT, cybersecurity, procurement, and business stakeholders to develop and execute technology-enabled solutions.
- Develop business use cases, implementation plans, performance metrics, and governance processes to support strategic operational objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter resource on enterprise management systems, digital transformation, and AI-enabled operational practices while ensuring alignment with Laboratory priorities, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, Asset Management, Project Management, or a related technical or operational discipline; or an equivalency of education and relevant experience (2:1).
- Minimum six (6) years' relevant experience in enterprise asset management, facilities operations, maintenance management systems, work planning and control, digital transformation initiatives, operational technology, project/program implementation, or related technical disciplines.
- Excellent analytical, project management, communication, and change management skills, along with the ability to influence decisions and drive adoption without direct supervisory authority.
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, preferably IBM Maximo.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- In-depth working knowledge of AI is not required but a deep curiosity to develop AI-enabled capabilities within facilities and operations is essential to success.
- Experience designing, deploying AI-powered systems in operational environments.
- Experience in Workflow automation.
- Experience serving as a technical liaison.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements
- Will use fixed and portable ladders.
- Standing, bending, and lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to wear proper PPE such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection.
- Several facilities at BNL are radiological facilities and require special dosimetry and training for access. These will be provided by BNL as required.
Other Information
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
- This is a full-time on-site position at BNL.
- Minimal travel may be required for employee training purposes.
- BNL business hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Brookhaven Laboratory is committed to providing fair, equitable and competitive compensation. The full salary range for this position is $97600 - $156150 /year. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate’s qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
