Facilities Engineer II
About the role
The Facilities Engineer II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling complex projects involving multiple disciplines for Optical Fiber and Cable manufacturing processes worldwide. This includes improving understanding and control of these processes to meet manufacturing objectives. The role involves solving advanced manufacturing problems and acting as the principal lead on one or more projects.
Responsibilities
- Propose, plan (scope), and implement projects requiring engineering analysis and modeling.
- Define the scope, key activities, and method of evaluation on projects.
- Provide technical leadership on one or more projects. Lead technical aspects of Facilities Process systems with collaboration from senior engineers.
- Effectively communicate plans, progress, and problems to all concerned parties.
- Document results.
- Ensure coordination and interaction with other organizations involved in the projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a similar degree required.
- 4+ years of field engineering experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under supervision.
- Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and technical staff.
- Skilled at reading and interpreting drawings and diagrams.
- Can identify potential problems and offer corrective or preventative actions.

Benefits
This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $81,602.00 - $112,204.00 assuming full-time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
