Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work
- Evaluate and provide comments on discipline engineering work performed internally and by contractors/sub-contractors to ensure execution aligns with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Facilitate effective engineering and design routines that support team goals, objectives, and procedures.
Ensure accurate and timely communication
- Ensure accurate and timely communication across the team and with other functions regarding engineering activities, progress, and issues.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed internally and by contractors/sub-contractors for compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate execution of engineering and design routines aligned with team goals, objectives, and procedures.
- Communicate engineering activities, progress, and issues accurately and timely to stakeholders and other functions.
- Participate in area risk assessments, HAZOPs, hazard hunts, and critical operating parameter reviews.
- Lead incident investigations, including downtime and process-safety-related events.
- Support opportunity management by identifying opportunities and developing project scope of work.
- Conduct risk assessments for new facility projects and existing facilities, and drive closure of mitigating action items.
- Lead performance testing and plant-based trials.
- Develop operating guidelines for facilities.
- Coach and mentor junior and peer colleagues.
- Deliver projects quickly while collaborating across multiple teams.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (no specific field required), or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak) for technical and business communications.
- PMP experience (preferred).

5/2, 3-4 days of travel per month if located in Houston
Pay
$105/hr (W2)
