About the role
The Facilities Engineer III or Senior position at Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP is based in Longview, TX. This role supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of pipelines, compressor stations, measurement & regulation (M&R) facilities, and related midstream assets.
Responsibilities
- Supports day-to-day operations and troubleshoots issues related to pipeline, compressor station, and M&R facility operations.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and process safety requirements.
- Collaborates with Field Operations, Engineering & Construction, and other Asset Performance & Innovation groups to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience in the energy, utilities, or industrial sector (midstream oil & gas preferred).
- Familiarity with process safety management (PSM), management of change (MOC), and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software and digital tools.
- Willingness to travel to field locations as required (up to 40% of the time).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- Experience supporting field operations in an owner’s engineer capacity.
- Experience with digital transformation, automation, or data analytics in field operations.
- Knowledge of asset integrity, measurement, automation, or compression systems.
- Advanced proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
