Facilities Director

About the role

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is one of the fastest-growing property management companies in the industry, formed in 2009 to operate a portfolio of multi-family and senior apartment communities. We are seeking a dependable, quality-focused, and experienced Facilities Director to join our team in the Pittsburgh area, overseeing Bridgeville Manor and St. Clair Villa—neighboring senior communities totaling 99 apartment homes. The Facilities Director is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and Regional Vice President, ensuring high standards of maintenance and upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities in collaboration with the Community Director.
• Inspect, schedule, and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed.
• Assist management staff in implementing policies, standards, procedures, and programs related to property maintenance and upkeep.
• Communicate effectively with employees, residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Satisfy work orders promptly (within 24 hours) and efficiently.
• Share on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Community Director.

Requirements

• 5 years of property maintenance experience.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• HVAC certification and strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must provide own tools.
• Physical capability to walk the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and perform a variety of physical tasks regularly.
• Must report to work at regularly scheduled hours.
