Facilities Custodian
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, and common areas
- Aid with facility maintenance and supply organization
- Safely transport children to and from program locations
- Serve as a bus monitor when assigned
- Maintain safe and sanitary environments for children and staff
- Support program operations as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Related custodial or maintenance experience preferred
- CDL required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and maintain facilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and TB test
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and safely operate a school bus
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform physical custodial duties including standing, bending, lifting, mopping, and operating cleaning equipment. Position requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and the ability to safely operate a school bus.
