JOB SUMMARY

Aid the Facilities Director in overseeing facilities projects to ensure operational readiness within budget constraints. Prevent or mitigate disruptions to services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritize and track work requests until completion.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of facilities and fixed assets, using power and non-powered tools, and climb ladders.
  • Move and assemble/disassemble furniture, including heavy lifting.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and perform regular maintenance checks.
  • Compile monthly productivity data and maintain records of fixed asset relocations.
  • Conduct minor electrical, carpentry, and drywall/construction repairs.
  • Comply with legal and ethical standards, and follow all relevant regulations and laws.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required, some college or trade school preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in a repair and maintenance environment (including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
  • Frequent lifting of 70 pounds required.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and excellent driving record required.
  • Basic math and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of repair and service for telephone and office equipment (excluding computer-related equipment).
  • Computer literacy; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
