Facilities Coordinator & EHS Specialist

Robert Half is partnering with a client in the Groton area to fill a permanent Facilities Coordinator role with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) experience. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and supports business growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a "utility player" in facilities coordination, supporting building systems and operations.
• Apply knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure.
• Interpret and enforce safety guidelines, compliance procedures, and workplace standards.
• Collaborate across departments with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with an organized approach.
• Utilize office and technical systems for documentation, coordination, and reporting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in facilities, compliance, or a related operational support role.
• Prior EH&S experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting (required).
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and other facility infrastructure.
• Proficiency with standard office and technical systems.

Pay

Starting salary up to $35/hour, with overtime potential.
