Facilities Coordinator

Major Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding use of PTEC.
  • Perform shop cleaning and organization for facility changeover.
  • Opening of the facility in the morning.
  • Manages PTEC service providers who support the facility.
  • Affords assistance to internal customers via phone and e-mail.
  • Handles all billing and ordering of supplies.
  • Affords assistance with shop administrative processes.
  • All paperwork involved in daily office procedures.
  • Operates computer terminal / Microsoft Outlook for scheduling events.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in shop administration preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, and sit frequently.
  • Lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg occasionally.
  • Use hands to touch, handle, and feel.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Read, communicate verbally and/or in written form.
  • Remember and analyze certain information.
  • Remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines.
