Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and design of control systems associated with HVAC, chilled water systems, compressors, waste treatment, exhaust abatement, pumps, and Toxic Gas Monitoring.
- Verification, implementation, and repair of programming code associated with control systems.
- Plan and preparation of designs, specifications, and estimates for projects.
- Support Manufacturing, EHS, and Central Plant Operations.
- Support control system start-up, system optimization, and shut down functions.
- Development of Instrument and Controls Diagrams.
- Perform PLC programming.
- Develop Facility Monitoring Control System operator interface screens.
- Support system start-up and system optimization.
- Provide imaginative/innovative solutions to control problems and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Controls, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution with 5 years (minimum) of direct experience.
- Experience with Foxboro I/A system or DeltaV.
- Ability to function effectively with peers inside and outside the organization.
- Root cause problem solving skills.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with knowledge or capacity to learn Visual Basic.
- Experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis or drafting using computer-aided design software.
