Responsibilities
We are seeking highly qualified, self-motivated Construction Engineer 4 candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively manage engineering projects of diverse size and complexity. In this role, you will support one of our core engineering value streams—Buildings & Grounds, Waterfront, or Utilities.
- Plans, designs, and manages the construction of new or expanded facilities.
- Develops architectural and engineering documents, including cost estimates, functional studies, construction plans, specifications, and project schedules.
- Procures and oversees the work of external contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Recommends architectural and engineering standards and procedures to support effective facility planning and design.
- Leads detailed design efforts, oversees budget development, ensures standardized construction practices, and conducts final project inspections.
- Performs construction surveillance to verify compliance with contractual obligations and technical requirements.
- Provides expert engineering consultation and support to local and divisional offices.
Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in project management, scheduling, organization, leadership, communication, and general computer skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience leading construction projects is required.
- Experience working within heavy industrial facilities and machinery is essential.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Pay
The listed salary range for this role is $99,190.00 - $120,452.80.
Schedule
Full Time/Salaried/Exempt, with required travel of 0 - 10%.
