Facilities Buyer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct suppliers and teammates to support facility operations, maintenance, and capital improvement projects across sites
• Prioritize and execute facilities program requirements to meet operational needs
• Prepare and issue RFP/RFQ, perform price analyses, and develop negotiation strategies
• Construct various contracting types for major procurement activities, including service agreements and construction contracts
• Own the procurement process from requisition to final invoice payment and resolve issues
• Lead identification, negotiation, execution, and management of strategic agreements for MRO and building services
• Support overall procurement strategic direction and ensure corporate objectives are achieved
• Ensure delivery of materials, equipment, and services on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and OSHA safety standards
• Track and analyze procurement metrics to drive data-driven decisions
• Maintain strong stakeholder management and communication
• Resolve procurement issues and manage vendor qualification processes

Requirements

• Must have recent and extensive exp as a Facilities Buyer
• Must have been involved in buying MRO (a must), Construction, HVAC (a must), Crane (highly preferred), Plumbing and Electrical (highly preferred)
• Must have experience with SharePoint
• Costpoint, Coupa and Jira are highly preferred
• Looking for 5-10 years of exp MAX
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar with minimum 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
