About the role

We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance and Facilities Assistant to join our team to provide and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator with the overall maintenance of both of our New York facilities.
• Daily cleaning of the warehouse and building services.
• Using the floor scrubbing machine.
• Maintaining kitchen and warehouse equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance repairs and upkeep.

Requirements

• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery and small office equipment.
• General knowledge of facilities maintenance and custodial principles, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to work extra hours and Saturdays as required by the needs of the business.
• Own transportation and valid and clean driver’s license to travel between two locations.

Your role here From Day 1, you will assist the Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator with the overall maintenance of both of our New York facilities. You will be responsible for daily cleaning of the warehouse, building services, using the floor scrubbing machine, monitoring and maintaining kitchen and warehouse equipment, and performing preventative maintenance repairs and upkeep.
