Midnight shift: Monday–Thursday 10 pm–6 am, Friday 8 pm–4 am.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Passing score of 70 % or better on HFC Facilities Associates test
- Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance of buildings (preferred)
- Grounds keeping experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Keeps buildings and property in clean, orderly, and safe conditions
- Performs seasonal building maintenance, including floor refinishing, window washing, and deep cleaning
- Performs routine custodial duties: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting
- Scrubs, cleans, sanitizes, and supplies restrooms
- Removes snow and performs landscaping duties
- Shampoos or steam cleans carpet and floors
- Manages inventory of cleaning supplies
- Mixes and stores cleaning chemicals according to instructions
- Operates equipment safely and maintains Facilities equipment (automatic floor machines, hand scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, backpack vacuums, KAI VAC touch-free cleaning systems, wet-vacs, tools, grounds equipment)
- Maintains a well-stocked, organized, and compliant supply closet
- Changes lights and reports electrical issues as needed
- Returns shared equipment (ladders, etc.) to designated storage area
- Adheres to security procedures and secures doors according to building hours
- Performs extra assignments: covering absent areas, furniture/equipment relocation, event set-up/tear-down, emergency response
- Trains new or temporary employees by allowing them to shadow
- Reports health, safety, plumbing, electrical, or roof issues to management
- Attends all mandatory training
- Complies with all HFC rules, regulations, and policies
- Works on teams and climbs ladders/scaffolding as assigned

- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting 10–20 lbs, lifting 20–50 lbs
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, lifting under 10 lbs
