Responsibilities
- Receive inbound deliveries and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
- Inspect materials for damage and accuracy
- Perform material receipt transactions in company software systems
- Label and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Cookordination resolution of receiving discrepancies
- Stage materials for prefab and assembly operations
- Maintain material availability for scheduled production activities
- Cookordinate movement of materials between warehouse and fabrication areas
- Support workflow efficiency through organized staging practices
- Prepare completed assemblies for shipment
- Pack materials to prevent damage during transit
- Cookordinate outbound freight scheduling as needed
- Load trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory through timely system updates
- Perform cycle counts as assigned
- Assist with inventory organization and location management
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely
- Support loading/unloading operations
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Support daily workflow coordination across receiving, staging, and shipping activities
- Communicate material shortages or issues impacting production
- Support organization and housekeeping of warehouse areas
- Aid in training or mentoring newer warehouse personnel as needed
Qualifications
- A high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Two years prior warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience
- Forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred
- Ability to read packing slips and purchase orders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for certain positions
