Facilities Assistant

About the role

At JSET, our field teams build and support complex automation, controls, and technology systems. We're looking for a Facilities Assistant to help keep our warehouse, inventory, and facilities organized, efficient, and ready to support our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in keeping things organized, and wants to build a career in operations, logistics, or facilities management.

What You'll Do

• Receive, organize, and store inventory, materials, and supplies
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging deliveries
• Help track and issue tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain organized warehouse, storage, and common areas
• Support inventory counts and material audits
• Assist with facility needs, furniture moves, and equipment setup
• Coordinate with team members to ensure materials are where they need to be
• Identify inventory shortages, damaged materials, or facility concerns
• Support office and field teams with general operational needs
• Follow established safety and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in both warehouse and office environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, facilities, construction, or operations environment
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, or construction materials
• Forklift or pallet jack experience
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Occasional outdoor work related to deliveries or facility support
