Position Overview
The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery is seeking a full-time faculty member at any academic rank to join their growing division.
Position Requirements
Degree: M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Certification: Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (or equivalent)
Licensure: Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska prior to start date
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide medical and surgical care for cosmetic and reconstructive conditions of the face, including but not limited to:
- Rhinoplasty
- Facelift and Neck Lift
- Brow Lift
- Blepharoplasty
- Otoplasty
- Facial reconstruction following Mohs surgery
Develop programs in facial nerve reanimation and gender-affirming surgery is strongly encouraged
Teaching & Academic Responsibilities
Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
Participate in didactic and formal lecture activities
Contribute to the academic and research missions of the department
Compensation & Benefits
Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
