The Role

The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in medical student, resident and fellow education
  • Research support for basic science, clinical outcomes, and clinical trial projects
  • Leadership and career advancement opportunities
  • Collaborate care with neurosurgery, dermatology and Mohs surgeons, plastic surgery, and oculoplastic surgery
  • Appointment at the Assistant Professor level

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  • BC/BE in Otolaryngology and completion of a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship
  • Experience in a wide spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
  • A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education and research/scholarly activity

  • Building a presence at our multiple sites

Skills

  • Ability to work with a strong facial plastic surgery team including faculty, nurses, and advanced practice providers
