The Waterways and Shipping Administration of the Federal Ministry of Transport is the largest employer in the business area of the Federal Ministry of Transport. Responsibilities

• Understand and implement maintenance and repair tasks for infrastructure facilities within the ABz Brunsbüttel area (including floating equipment).
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks including the upkeep of service roads, drainage ditches, traffic and parking areas, windbreak plantings, including individual tree felling and wind damage repair.
• Carry out paving works.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in Water Technician (m/w/d) or successful completion of vocational training in a comparable profession with a training duration of at least 3 years (e.g., mason, street cleaner, steel/concrete worker, carpenter, landscape gardener, forester).
• Valid Class B driver's license for operating utility vehicles.
• Good knowledge and experience in the field of water engineering, landscaping, or deep construction.
• Good knowledge of occupational safety.
• Proactive and reliable with a willingness to work independently, responsibly, and cooperatively.
• Willingness to participate in emergency readiness and regular training.
• Valid Class B driving license.
• Valid Module A power tool license.
• Valid Sea Driver's License.
• Swimming qualification Bronze level.

Pay

Salary will be determined according to Entgeltgruppe 5 TV EntgO Bund after meeting the required qualifications. Relevant work experience will be considered.
