Instrumental is a program supported by the FWCS Foundation. The benefits of music education are well documented. With access to music during their formative years students are more likely to excel and thrive. With b Instrumental we’re working to make these benefits available to all students.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to small groups of students in instrumental music
• Help students develop the discipline that comes with regular practice
• Boost the impact of music programs by providing small group instructors
• Offer students the opportunity to pick up an instrument for the first time
• Encourage students to participate in summer music camps
• Support students in achieving personal and academic success through music

Qualifications

• A passion for instrumental music and working with children
• Experience teaching instrumental music
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
