About the role

Roundy's, now part of The Kroger Company, operates over 140 stores across Wisconsin and Illinois under the retail banners Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market. Responsibilities

• Complete commercial carpentry tasks such as drywall installation, floor tile installation, cabinet repair, window and door repairs, cement work, acoustical ceiling installation, and lock installation.
• Submit accurate time reports and vehicle inventory using company computer programs.
• Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice a year.
• Ensure maintenance expenses for assigned stores comply with annual budgetary guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Team player with flexibility to handle various assignments and projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prioritize job functions and complete tasks accurately.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Windows XP, MS Excel, CPC Ultrasite/Controllers, MS Outlook, and Kroger-specific mainframe applications like Viryanet Service Hub.
• Valid driver’s license.

• General carpentry experience, particularly in food retail and commercial facilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desired Previous Job Experience

General carpentry experience, especially in food retail and commercial facilities. Potential career paths include higher level internal Administrative positions, higher-level General Office Administrative positions, and Division office administrative positions.
