FABRICATOR/WELDER - TRUCK EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

About the role

Bright FSM is hiring a welder fabricator to perform a variety of tasks, from design and fabrication of small items to custom truck bodies. This role also involves building trucks. Experienced electronics and hydraulic installers are welcome to apply, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair is a plus.

We fabricate truck bodies, railings, ramps, trailers, skid steer attachments, roll-offs, and a wide variety of other items. We build contractor and municipal trucks, installing plows, hitches, PTOs, pumps, dump boxes, salt spreaders, wings, scrapers, lift gates, lift axles, and more. Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, install, and service truck equipment using welders, torches, plasma cutters, drill presses, and metal cutting saws.
• Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
• Utilize manuals and installation instructions in truck build-up processes.

Skills

• Experience with electronics and hydraulic installations (preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (time and a half after 40 hours).
