About the role
The Role
As Process Heat Fabricator, you will join our Process Heat Manufacturing team and support the production of components used in complete heater assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures; safety is always the top priority.
- Verify raw materials prior to fabrication to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Use measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Operate manual machines such as lathes and mills.
- Perform grinding, chamfering, and deburring of parts according to specifications.
- Drill and tap holes as required by prints.
- Operate pneumatic forming machines and rollers.
- Utilize equipment such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC lasers, water jets, and plasma pipe cutters.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and hazard-free environment.
- Support production flow by picking parts, communicating material needs, and contributing to process improvements when possible.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods (6+ hours per day).
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic) in a professional environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Pay
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.51 hourly
