About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components for elevator systems.
Responsibilities
- Use a variety of metalworking tools including shears, breaks, drills, and welding machines.
- Build metal frames and cases for elevators.
- Work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Perform heavy lifting as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized and tidy work space.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of metal fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with metal working tools such as shears, breaks, drills, and welding machines.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
Skills
- Proficiency with metalworking tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow safety protocols.
