Fabricator (2nd shift) - experienced

About the role

Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking experienced heavy metals manufacturing Fabricators (2nd shift) to join our team at our York, PA manufacturing facility. You’ll be part of a skilled team delivering high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, and customer focus matter. Collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and ensure every component is completed safely and accurately. This position is part of our Collective Bargaining Unit (union).

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 11:55 PM (with a $2.00 shift differential).

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions.
• Work with hand tools such as grinders, tape measures, and scales.
• Operate or learn to use a drill press, cut-off saw, gas cutting, sandblasting equipment, painting, and stress relief operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints related to the product.
• Build component subassemblies/fabrications.

Requirements

• Motivated to obtain or build on existing knowledge and skills.
• Good communication skills—ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Good attendance record.
• US citizenship required at time of hire.
