Fabricator 1st Shift (6AM - 2PM) $27.91 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Works from verbal and/or written instructions from supervisor and engineers.
• Sets up and operates various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
• Fabricates parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Sets up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print.
• Must be able to operate all department equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Inputs programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary.
• Responsible for inspection and overall quality of fabricated parts.
• Reports inferior defects and non-conforming parts to supervisor.
• Works with engineering to produce parts to print.
• Keeps accurate inventory of tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Qualifications

• A high school diploma.
• One to two years of manufacturing experience, preferably in fabricating parts.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate all department equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
