Fabrication Welder-Fitter

Job Responsibilities

• Use measuring devices to lay out and fit steel for welding.
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions per blueprints.
• Grind and smooth edges for a finished product.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Other Experience and Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding experience (preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Strong math skills for accurate layout and fitting.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
