Fabrication Technician Weekends

About the role

Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts; weekdays off.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cut-to-length, finished-end pipe for customer orders and stock inventory using carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, thermoplastic, and PVC across a wide range of pipe diameters.
• Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and weld specialized pipe materials.
• Perform precise machine setups and verify measurements to required tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mechanical lifting equipment safely.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Use RF devices to locate, move, and stage material as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of machine operation experience; pipe cutting and threading preferred.
• 3–5 years of forklift/mechanical handling equipment operation preferred.
• 2–4 years of welding or pipe end finishing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and team-first attitude.

Pay

$19.80 – $27.73 per hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
