Fabrication Technician Weekends
About the role
Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts; weekdays off.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate cut-to-length, finished-end pipe for customer orders and stock inventory using carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, thermoplastic, and PVC across a wide range of pipe diameters.
- Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and weld specialized pipe materials.
- Perform precise machine setups and verify measurements to required tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mechanical lifting equipment safely.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Use RF devices to locate, move, and stage material as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 4–6 years of machine operation experience; pipe cutting and threading preferred.
- 3–5 years of forklift/mechanical handling equipment operation preferred.
- 2–4 years of welding or pipe end finishing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and team-first attitude.

Pay
$19.80 – $27.73 per hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
