About the role
KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions, is seeking a full-time Fabrication Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is given within the first year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment that manufactures metal-fabricated frames for products.
- Perform quality inspections of components being produced.
- Operate fabrication equipment in the cell, such as robotic welders, hydraulic banks, saws, benders, and drill presses.
- Use tools required in the cell, including handheld drills, screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, and any other necessary tools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience (not required).
- Team player with computer knowledge.
- Willingness to learn and train on any shift.
- Positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Work in areas where temperatures may be warm.
- Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to assist in any area of the plant if needed.
- Work in a smoke-free environment.
Schedule
- 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
- Overtime during busy season.
Pay
- Starting rate: $19/hour.
