Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum frames, storefront systems, and glass components
- Read and interpret shop drawings, cut sheets, and fabrication instructions
- Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials with accuracy
- Assist with glass handling, packing, and staging for field installation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe shop environment
- Follow all safety procedures and quality control standards
- Work closely with project managers and installers to meet production deadlines
Requirements
- Prior experience in fabrication, construction, glazing, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and basic shop drawings accurately
- Comfortable working with hand tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Able to lift and handle heavy materials safely
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
