Fabrication Technician

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs tasks using hand tools, power tools, torches, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Affords assistance in the build-out and modification of large manufacturing equipment and complex projects.
• Maintains maintenance on shop and production floor equipment.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.

Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Proficient in complex welding procedures and proficient in using oxy/acetylene and plasma torches
• Proficient in fabrication layout
• Basic electrical and rigging of equipment experience
• Ability to read measurement devices and to follow instructions
• Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required
