Fabrication Supervisor - Night Shift
Job Summary
Oversees the fabrication and quality control process, monitoring progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities
- Checks fabrication of all material.
- Makes sure shop performance, quality, errors, and workmanship are monitored and reported to the manager weekly.
- Ensures the workplace is safe and compliant with OSHA and Fire Codes.
- Processes orders completely, signs off on the quality of the product, monitors inventory, oversees maintenance, and performs repairs as necessary.
- Trains other associates as lead or senior employees or trainers, ensuring they have the tools and training necessary to do the job.
- Manages workflow and schedules, maintains a positive working environment.
Nature and Scope
Provides solutions, ensures work is performed according to company policies and procedures, leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower-level professional associates.
Experience
Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
