Fabrication Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily activities of technicians balancing labor and schedules for respective cells, while maintaining high quality standards and implementing cost saving ideas.
• Review cell flow and production for optimum efficiencies.
• Manage processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Communicate with other managers to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
• Maintain open channels of communication with production technicians.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and resolve personnel issues while remaining compliant with the relevant state and federal laws.

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or business is preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• PREFERRED: Lean Manufacturing experience.
